update!!!

hj had his eye appointment on monday and his left eye is definatly not working very well.he has been given new glasses that we got today(and the lenses are so thick i didnt realise just how bad his sight is) and he has to go back in a couple of months and be re checked,and if it still seems bad they are going to put some kind of drops in his right eye which will make that his weaker eye so that hopefully his left one will start working harder as they said an eye patch wouldnt work because of his eye flicker.
tomorrow he is going in to hospital to have his adeniods out and gromets put in and he has his little case packed already!!!
he cant have anything to eat after 12 tonight and cant have anything to drink after 7am which is going to be hard ,especially if he isnt first on the list!!!
will let you know how everthing goes tomorrow night.

thanks sally-anne,i dont know if it will have to be done everyday until we have his appointment in august.
i dont know if its a side effect of the adenoids thing but his voice has changed!!!!!!

his new glasses make him look like micheal caine!!!!!!!!

Glad he's okay after his operation (it will be worth the awful stress you're going through)...

Hope they manage to sort his eyesight out - Lu had years of wearing an eyepatch, which did strengthen her eyes, so maybe the cream will help with HJ... Do you have to put it in everyday? That won't be fun :(

well it all went well today although the "magic cream" that they put on his hand so he didnt feel the needle going in,didnt work,so he had to have the gas. he was so good but once i got outside once he was asleep i cried like a baby!!!!!!!

Praying everything goes great and HJ gets in there first thing in the morning..I know how cranky the kids can be!

Kennys left eye is her weaker one,,she focuses it and lets it drift..Last time we were at eye doctor he didnt see any difting ( tht little stinker) I try to patch her right eye as much as possible..hopefully it works
