Kaden had 3 test done at Kosair Childrens Hospital on Aug 25th an EEG, MRI and Audiology. Kaden failed his newborn hearing, and when he was retested a few weeks later he had a slight hearing loss in his right ear, and a moderate loss in the left but they told me he needed tubes because he had fluid on his ears. The tubes did the trick because his hearing is now normal!!! yay! They are going to retest him in 4 months just to keep track of it. His EEG and MRI normal as well. So, good news here! La… Continue

EYE DOCTOR: Kaden went to the eye doctor yesterday, I noticed that some children on the website have glasses, and I didn't know if it was apart of PKS or not. So his check up was okay for now, the doctor said that he was a little nearsighted, and has stigmatism which both by parents do as well. He told me that Kaden only being 4 months that he could grow and his eyes get better or worse, but for now he's fine, and we have another check up scheduled for JAN.

Kaden Had his tubes put in both ears yesterday. Everything seemed to have went good, and his ENT told me that he has small ear canals not sure if he meant for his age or in general. Then he explained what to do with the drops and said Kaden would be out in 10 minutes. Today when I was cleaning I put Kaden on his mat to play, and I didn't hear him kicking his toy like usual. So I went over to check on him and half the top of his body was off the mat, and on the carpet. So I placed him back on the mat, and watched to figure out how he got like that. He got real still and bent his legs then began to scoot while laying on his back all the way off his mat. I was so proud!! It has been awhile since I have been on. Where do I start....Kaden has seen a genetic doctor, but they couldn't tell me much yet of course, but they were great on referring me to First Steps, and an ENT for the fluid on Kaden's ears. First Steps is a great program right now they have a physical therapist coming out twice a week she is helping Kaden, and showing me great methods on how to work kaden. He was having trouble turning his head to the left but is doing much better. He is alittle behind… Continue
